Two former students of Leo's from Magic School turn up at the manor to inform the Charmed Ones that demons Leo had imprisoned in the Magic School dungeons have escaped and are seeking revenge. Piper ends up helping the two teenagers, but it looks as if they end up saving Piper in the process. Billie's parents also return to see their long lost daughter Christy while Paige is off on her honeymoon with Henry and Phoebe travels with Coop the Cupid to visit her loves in her life as well as of a past life.

  • The episode title is a play on words to Generation X, a generation of people born between 1965-1975.
  • Coop takes Phoebe to see her past life as P. Russel in love with the immortal warlock Anton (referred to as a demon here by Phoebe) in the episode Pardon My Past. This is also the last appearance of a warlock on the show, and the last mention by one of the characters (Piper).
  • This is a partial flash-back episode as Coop and Phoebe relive scenes from all of her relationships using older footage.
  • It was previously explained that demons could not physically enter Magic School on their own. Apparently, the Noxon demons were trapped by Leo in the dungeon to experiment in the students' advanced combat classes.
  • Billie's parents are killed in this episode.
  • Paige is on her honeymoon.
  • Phoebe's barrier over her love is broken by Coop. She can now begin to love again.
  • Christy kills the last member of the Triad. This act of "final test" is very similar to Cole killing his mentor Raynor before the season three finale.
  • Cole's death shown in the episode Centennial Charmed was witnessed by an alternate timeline Phoebe, not the one we normally see on the show. When the timeline returned to normal in that episode, the Phoebe we know was unaware of the change, and did not even know that Cole was dead until she was told by Paige and visited Cole's apartment.
  • Phoebe also mistakenly says that she first met Cole on her college campus. This is not true as she met him the day before at a crime scene he was investigating as well as during a court hearing. The day on the campus might be considered their first official meeting, as is Piper and Leo's first official meeting being in the manor, not when Piper and Leo bump into each other earlier in their lives.
