General Wayne Elementary School

General Wayne Elementary School is one of four elementary schools in the Great Valley School District. It is located in Malvern, Pennsylvania, USA. It is named after General Anthony Wayne from the American Revolutionary War who commanded the United States in the Paoli massacre.

Student school hours are from 9:00 AM-3:38 PM, morning kindergarten hours are from 9:00-11:45 AM, and afternoon kindergarten hours are from 12:40 PM-3:38 PM. [1]

It was General Wayne Middle School from 1958 to 2000, but was changed to General Wayne Elementary School after a new, Great Valley Middle School, was built next to the high school campus. [2]

The school teaches grades Kindergarten to 5th Grade. The school enrolls about 585 students per year. The student to teacher ratio is about 17:1. [3]
