The Parque General San Martín is a park located in the city of Mendoza, Argentina.

The construction of the park started the 6 of november 1896, under the name of "Parque del Oeste". The architect Carlos Thays, was the man in charged of the project. He merged the english and french tradition of the XIX century. The main entrance is governed by the gates, which are dated on 1909, they are decorated with a condor and the coat of arms of the city.

The park has 34 sculptures decorating the paths and roads. El rosedal (rose garden) is a pedestrianized walk that was inaugurated in 1919. On its premises you can find football (soccer) fields, a zoo, the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, a monument that commemorates the cross of the Andes by José de San Martín and his army and a big lake which was inaugurated in 1906. The Regatas club is in its shores.
