General Otmin is a minotaur in the 2005 movie The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. Otmin does not appear in the book The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe as a named character, though there are several minotaurs mentioned in passing. He is the general commander of the White Witch's army in the Battle of Beruna Ford. He is portrayed by Shane Rangi acting underneath a minotaur costume.
When Aslan is walking to the Stone Table, Otmin knocks him over with his axe. In the initial charge at the battle, Otmin kills many centaurs with his weapon of choice, a double-bladed axe. On his back, there is a chinese dadao sword with which he kills a number of centaurs. Otmin is the parallel of another character invented specifically for the movie, Oreius the centaur, commander of Aslan's army. Oreius kills Otmin just before he faces (and is turned to stone by) the White Witch: Otmin tries to pull himself onto Oreius' back, but Oreius hits him in the head and stabs him through the chest. He tumbles onto the ground; his armour is so heavy a small cloud of dust rises from the earth.
In the film Otmin speaks twice, once to the White Witch about battle strategies and another time to the dwarves on the battlefield, yelling "Look to the sky!" when a large group of gryphons from Aslan's army prepares to drop rocks from overhead.
