Gemma Haines

Gemma Haines is a reporter for Seven News in Canberra, ACT, Australia.
Haines joined Channel Seven in early 2003. With Seven News, Haines reported on many big stories inlcuding the Iraq War and the resignation of the former Governor General Peter Hollingworth. Haines regually reports live to Seven News.
Haines began her career working on Brisbane Extra on Channel Nine. Following this, Haines joined Nine's regional affiliate WIN Television in Rockhampton, Queensland where she worked as Court and Police Reporter, and later presented the weather report.
After WIN Television, Haines took up a job with Sky News Australia on the Business Report, and then moved to Canberra where she worked with ABC Local Radio and another local FM radio station.
