In Doctor Who there is an alien species called the Gelth. It was to this group that Rose was referring in "The Christmas Invasion." I'm changing the entry to reflect the error. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Doctor_Who_monsters_and_aliens#Gelth , http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Unquiet_Dead Simonus 14:41, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

How can you know this? Billie Piper has a mouth that brings about all sorts of stray sound effects. I think she says "GELF", and that Red Dwarf fans are determined to hear it as GELTH because they don't like the idea of the two series overlapping. There's a TARDIS in the model footage for Marooned, people! —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 138.37.7.247 (talkcontribs).

[edit] Other shows

I've removed all mention of other shows from the article - there is still no corroboration for the suggestion that the phrase was used in SeaQuest (and even so, the use in that one other show would not really justify stating that it's a general sci-fi concept as opposed to Dwarf-specific), and the Doctor Who reference is based on a simple misunderstanding by Danny John Jules on a DVD commentary. The word "GELF" is never used on Doctor Who (just read the shooting scripts), and I get the impression that someone particularly mischievous is attempting to force the suggestion upon the Wiki entry.
