My academic specialty was originally Jürgen Habermas and Martin Heidegger (which Habermas might lament), but my interests span contemporary philosophy. I'm presently in a "complex" of ethical theory, epistemology, cognitive science, and philosophical biology. But my longstanding affection for Habermas' work causes me to host a discussion group related to his philosophical work and interests; and to have begun a neo-/post-Habermasian project of applied discursive work, which is applied work, not intended to be complexly discursive.
