[edit] Image:Broadmeadows station.jpg

What licence is Image:Broadmeadows station.jpg which you uploaded released under? Thanks. Somebody in the WWW 06:55, 27 Jan 2005 (UTC)

I live 500 meters from the station, this photo was taken from an overpass bridge --Gazzareth 12:23, 28 Jan 2005 (UTC)

If you want to release it into Wikipedia, some copyright notice needs to be included in the descriptive text (click on the link above). Remove the {{unverified}} and replace with another copyright notice - the one I use for my photos is {{GFDL}}, which gifts it to the world. More information can be found at Wikipedia:Images. [edit] Re: A1 GP WikiProject

Just wondering if you wanted to co-create a Wikipedia Project for A1 GP, last couple days the pair of us have seemed to grow the A1 Grand Prix page. If you'd like to co-create a porject for it, get back to me...talk to you soon, --Gazzareth 03:01, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Yeh, I'd definitely be interested. I was thinking of doing this but waiting till I had a bit of time. Sounds, good - I'll help you get it started. AlbinoMonkey (Talk) 03:23, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)
Ok kool, might sound a bit dumb here, but i am only new to Wikipedia, how do you start a Wikipedia Project, any processes you have to go through? --Gazzareth --Talk

Hmmm - I started one a while ago and there was a very helpful page which lists the steps to make one... But I can't find it now, which is a bit frustrating! I'm a member of Wikipedia: WikiProject Formula One, which I think is well set out. But from what I remember, you create a page in the Wikipedia namespace (in our case, create the page Wikipedia: WikiProject A1 Grand Prix), then on the page, you basically start with a brief description of the project and what the goals are (eg to keep up to date, consistent info on A1 Grand Prix series)... Then put a place for members to sign up, a heading for Infoboxes and Templates (which we obviously do not have yet), and make a short "to-Do" list. You'll want to add it to Category: WikiProjects, and the list at Wikipedia: WikiProject. Have a look at Wikipedia: WikiProject best practices, which is the best help page I could find. Then probably just leave messages on peoples talk pages - probably best to start with those who have already contributed to the A1 Grand Prix page, and it will probably (hopefully) grow from there. I'll help out once you've decided when you want to start. Hope that helps.. AlbinoMonkey (Talk) 13:18, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)

I've made a quick start to the project page, obviously it's a little empty at the moment, but add whatever you want. Now we've just gotta find peoople to join up. I'll have a look at the list of people who've contributed to the A1 Grand Prix page, and put an "ad" on WikiProject F1 to see if anyone's interested. I'll try to do that in the next couple of days or so. AlbinoMonkey (Talk) 11:31, 2 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Image copyright

You must include a source and license with images you upload, specifically Image:Rickyponting.jpg is missing information. ed g2stalk 01:51, 12 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Cricket wikireader

As you are a member of Wikipedia:WikiProject Cricket, I thought you might be interested in this. I have made a proposal to create a WikiReader for cricket. Perhaps you could comment at User:Smoddy/WikiReader Cricket on my suggested content. Cheers, Smoddy (Rabbit and pork) 16:23, 14 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Another image issue

Could you put some copyright info on the graphic with your name? I'm assuming you made it yourself, but it's turning up on the list of un-tagged images.

[edit] AFL

G'day mate, just wondering if you'd be interested in joining the WikiProject AFL. I've made the project and been creating stacks of articles solo, and I need to find others that can help me out with expanding everything. I've done a hell of a lot, I just need more participants and then this project will be cooking with oil. Cheers, Rogerthat 11:18, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Meetup in March

I see that you are listed as a participant in the WikiProject Melbourne. If you are a Melbourne resident I would appreciate your views on the suggested Meetup in March . Please give some indication of your interest, or otherwise, in the idea. Even a simple "No thanks" with your user name would be welcome and assist in assessing the level of support for a meetup. Thank you.. Cuddy Wifter 06:30, 28 February 2006 (UTC)
