GAZ-53

GAZ-53 is a truck from GAZ. It was produced between 1961 and 1991 (perhaps longer). Giving the long production run it is not an uncommon sight in eastern Europe usually painted light blue with white front. It is a 3.5 ton 4x2 truck that exist in some variants like the GAZ-53A 4-ton truck and GAZ-53F that uses the engine from the GAZ-51. It is powered by a 4254 cc V8 ZMZ-53 engine producing 115 hp giving a top speed of 80 km/h. It has a four speed gearbox, synchronised on third and fourth.
