IMDb profile

Gayniggers From Outer Space (1992) is a blaxploitation-like science fiction short film directed by Danish filmmaker, DJ and singer Morten Lindberg, also known as Master Fatman.[1] It was given that title because allegedly some homosexual Africans living in Europe claim they feel as if they are from another planet due to their homosexuality. As well, the film's title may be an homage to Edward D. Wood, Jr.'s movie Plan 9 From Outer Space, whose working title was Grave Robbers From Outer Space or Grave Diggers From Outer Space.

Gayniggers from Outer Space starts in black and white, but later turns into a colour film. According to the director Lindberg, this is a "dramatic special effect" and is due to "the world being freed from vicious women."[2]

[edit] Plot

It tells the story of a group of intergalactic homosexual black men who discover the presence of female creatures on planet Earth. Using guns which shoot deadly rays, they proceed to eliminate females one by one from Earth, which ensures them the ecstatic gratitude of the previously suppressed male population.[1] Before leaving the planet, they leave behind a gay ambassador to educate the Earthlings about their new way of life.

"The Universe. Its mighty power. Its evolutionary force, not to be stopped by anyone. In its beauty, this, this is a happy place to stay, filled with harmony and cosmic joy. A free place, where men can express themselves, and be as when they were born. All of this is, because someone cares. Because someone looks after us. When we sleep, when we play. When we act natural. This is a movie about those who risk life, and partners, to guarantee living in a wonderful and free universe. This is a movie about the Gayniggers From Outer Space. The Gayniggers come from the planet Anus, in the 8th Sun System, far far away from here. They are much, much more intelligent than any other creature in the Universe. The most fascinating thing about them is that they, with the help of their super intelligence, and their highly developed telepathic system, Braintapping, will be able to create a world, a society, a perfect world to live in without the presence of women. A MALE ONLY WORLD."

[edit] Cult status

The film became a curiosity on the Internet through its listing at the Internet Movie Database. Initially, no synopsis or reviews appeared on the page. However, Michael "Ami" Payne, creator of the now-defunct Mr. Popo's Palace (a comedy site loosely based on the popular anime Dragon Ball Z) is alleged to have posted a very detailed faux-review [1]. It is said that in this review, Payne described scenes featuring the protagonist, Gay Nigger Jim, raping a toilet until he explodes, and a musical number entitled "Gay Niggers Eat Pigs and Fly on Penises Made Out of Ham and Brown Ham, Because They're Gay Niggers. Also, a Gay Nigger is a really, really Gay Nigger!" The review sparked discussion on several forums (see link below) as to whether or not such a film truly existed. The film eventually found its way onto the internet where it was quickly circulated. IMDb soon removed Michael Payne's false review which was quickly replaced by many more describing the actual film.

The film was also used as a filler by anime subtitling website DatteBayo in lieu of a Naruto episode during one of the off-weeks of the show.
