From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center is a large hotel and convention center under construction in National Harbor, Maryland, and owned by Gaylord Hotels, a division of Gaylord Entertainment Company. Sister properties include the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville, Gaylord Palms in Orlando, and Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas. When completed in 2008, it will be the largest convention hotel on the East Coast and will serve as the anchor of a new mixed-use development fronting the Potomac River just downriver of Washington, D.C., and across the river from Alexandria, Virginia.[1]
