Homosexuality is legal in Aruba. Adoption by same-sex couples is legal.
[edit] Legal recognition of same-sex unions
The Dutch government states that as part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Aruba is obliged to recognize civil unions and same-sex marriage as valid. However, the Aruban Government says it won't recognize them. A judge ruled in favor of the Dutch Government, case is now pending in higher court.
