Thanks for asking me about the mode2 page (I've moved it from [[mode2]] to mode2 as that's a more normal -like name for the page. I presume the italics arn't a required part of the name? After re-reading it, I agree that it is not nonsense, and the references you provide (particularly the ones not by the original instigators of the idea) show that it has been taken up by others, making it satisfy the primary notability criterion, so I've restored it, and done some work to bring it in line with Wikipedia house style. Thanks for persisting, but please do use hangon rather than simply removing the CSD tags in the future. You may want to read up on WP:AfD(our primary deletion process) as people may wish to be further sure of the appropriatness of the topic for Wikipedia. Thanks.
