The Gavarnie Falls, also known as Grande Cascade de Gavarnie, is a tiered waterfall and ranks with its overall drop of 422 m as the tallest waterfall in France. The falls are situated in Cirque de Gavarnie, half an hour walk from the village Gavarnie in the Hautes-Pyrénées.
