Gau-Algesheim

Gau-Algesheim is a municipality in the district Mainz-Bingen, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated near the river Rhine, approx. 20 km west of Mainz.
Gau-Algesheim is also the seat of the Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Gau-Algesheim, which consists of the following Ortsgemeinden ("local municipalities"):
- Appenheim
- Bubenheim
- Engelstadt
- Gau-Algesheim
- Nieder-Hilbersheim
- Ober-Hilbersheim
- Ockenheim
- Schwabenheim an der Selz
