[edit] WTF did someone delete like 90% of the pages for Cosmic Era mobile weapons
What the hell is your problem? The grunt units - GINNS, DINNS, etc. - I can understand, but why the hell did you delete all of the important ones like Abyss, Aegis, Akatsuki, Blitz, Buster, Calamity, Chaos, Destiny, Destroy, Duel, Forbidden, Gaia, Impulse, Legend, Providence, and Raider? Why the hell did you delete all of those pages and only leave a select few like the Strike, Freedom, and Justice? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Shaneymike (talk • contribs) 14:41, 8 December 2006 (UTC).

[edit] Article Splitting
I believe this article is too long and should be split up. I think we should either give GAT-X105E Strike Noir or MBF-02 Strike Rouge its own article. Discuss - Plau 23:50, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
- Well, Rouge is more similar, already redirects here and shows less signs of future development. I think the choice is clear, if it really must be done. Ace Class Shadow 23:54, 10 April 2006 (UTC)
Strike Noir should be re-merged into this article, per the result of an AfD discussion from November 30-December 6, 2006. Iceberg3k 16:33, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
- Agree. Noir itself is still not a significant real world impact. Although it got a lot of online modelers pre-series models, those are too hard to source. MythSearchertalk 14:56, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Before anyone says anything, I already went to the trouble of re-merging Strike Noir into this article. I also decided to give it [this article on Strike] a major makeover, as you can obviously see. --Kira Matthews 09:17, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] 3rd Strike Unit
Guys, I've edited the Strike Gundam page to show that there is a 3rd unit. Reference link here: http://old.rfdh.com/1026/mg/m94/m94_i10.jpg (note: picture taken from korean gunpla site http://www.dalong.net/ ) (also showing are the 2nd units of the Buster and the Duel, also in the same group of the 3rd Strike (and later with the upgraded 3rd Strike "Strike Noir") used by the Phantom Pain before they were upgraded into Buster Verde and Blu Duel respectively). Anyone who can read japanese my verify here: http://old.rfdh.com/1026/mg/m94/manual/m94_mb0010.JPG (also taken from above website), under the title "Sham Fight".
[edit] Model Kits and Action Figures
I suggest that this section of the article must be present in all Gundam mecha article pages since (at least) most of them has their own respective kits and figures.
-
- On other hand, I think we should remove the section from this article (and whatever article with the section). Several MS (notable various MS from Gundam X) doesn't got model release. Some of side-story MS (as well as few grunt-type MS from anime) only got single model release. In contrast to that, the TRUE king of model kit known as RX-78-2 Gundam (and maybe the Zaku II) got so many model release in over 27 years that it would be need to creat as seperate article, as include it as section for main article would mess everything up. Now I remember ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom Gundam once has the model section, until someone released that listing all exist model kit add so little to article value.L-Zwei 16:16, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Strike pilot and OS
In this article states that Kira modified only the color of the phase-shift but that isn't so, he modified the OS so that he could pilot is because the OS was for Natural use and he is not a Natural. It also states that Murrue Ramius was a pilot, that isn't so either because she only entered the Strike but never actually did anything, and you can't count the walking en pushing buttons. The pilots of the Strike only was Kira and Mu. So I will change those things again so don't edit that L-Zwei
-
- While I have no comment on exclude Murrue as pilot, not care at all. Where did you get information that he change Rouge OS? While Natural can't pilot MS with Coordinator OS, Coordinator can pilot MS with Natural OS easily as proved by Rondo Gina Sahaku who use M1 Astary against Lowe in Astray manga. And it make no sense why Kira would bother change OS on Rouge, all we known is he reconfigure color (which relate to energy usage and defensive power) but nothing said about OS. Unless you can prove that he DOES change OS (cite your source), it will be editted. L-Zwei 16:36, 19 November 2006 (UTC)
Well watch that eps 39 then, you will here that what to do with the voltage and rest of the specs. Further more if Kira would have pilot the Rouge with a Natural OS then he would have hardly been able to fight a single enemy let alone a dozen because Kira's reaction time is faster that than Cagalie so he would have to write the OS to his own specifications or else the Strike couldn't keep up with him. Further more Kira wouldn't probely buther to change only the color scheme because to him it would be probely more impotent to protect Lacus than to look good. For my info go to http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/index.htm ant look tp rouge because they also say specs
- That's your speculation, nowhere state he replace the OS. Including MAHQ profile, by spec it mean PS strenght. Once again, find whatever source state clearly that he also change OS, I don't want this article to enter list of lame edit war but I won't allow you to put your speculation here either. L-Zwei 07:56, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
You are the one that is speculating, you don't have proof that he didn't change the OS to his settings, and further more he also says make it all as same as the Strike. So that would mean everything to the original Strike and that includes his own custom OS.
-
- What? When I install new OS into my PC, while not all, I want to keep most setting similar to old one until I get use to it. Fact is, it's possible to use newer application to emulate previous version (though ussaully not perfectly). And I made speculation? You're one of people who believe that Cthulhu exist because there is no prrof that he not exist right? Fact is, not even single reliable source state he change OS, thus it shouldn't include in this article, that's all. If you want to put it so much, just cite your source! L-Zwei 16:56, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Like you sad keep the setting you are familiar with, so Kira would have change the OS to the original strike. And as proof I have sad it many times it clearly says spec on mahq.net and Kira also say to Murdock that the specs should be same as the Strike. Clearly you don't think that is proof so I want you to proof that he only change the color and I think that is fair because how much I say that the specs are changed to be the same as the original Strike you give me the same answer every time, Further more my source is the eps in question and how many times a watch that eps it always says Murduck:what about he voltage and specs, Kira: the same as the Strike
-
- And once again, it never state that said specs including OS. Since it isn't clear, I don't want to put it in article. All we known for sure that colors are changed, which relate to energy voltage and defense ability. But it isn't clear that the OS are same or not, so it won't belong to article. Also, if Rouge got its OS swapped, it should already mention in Mobile Suit Operation System article. L-Zwei 11:17, 21 November 2006 (UTC)
You really are something are you this was written in mahq.net
Following the destruction of the ZGMF-X10A Freedom Gundam, Kira uses the Strike Rouge to travel to space and defend the Eternal from a ZAFT attack. The Strike Rouge's color scheme is shifted back to that of the original Strike Gundam, and its specs are changed back to Kira's custom settings
So you mean to say that this doesn't mean that the OS is changed to Kira's own setting. This is my source and eps 39 is my source. If you don't accept those two sources then there isn't any other source except the creators.
-
- You're one who keep give old answer and I said there is no mention in Mobile Suit Operation System that old version of OS was installed in Rouge. Since this seem to go nowhere, I rather wait and see how other Gundam-fan Wikipedian think about this issue. I just hope you aren'tlow enough to register and use sockpuppet tactic.
