The Gateway Grizzlies are a minor league baseball team which plays in Sauget, Illinois. The team is a member of the Independent Frontier League, and is associated with no Major League Baseball team.

The team plays at GCS Ballpark (formerly GMC Stadium) in Sauget, Illinois and set a Frontier League record for attendance in 2004 with 217,500 fans.

The Grizzlies entered the league in 2001 and won their first league championship in 2003, defeating the Evansville Otters in three straight games including a 12-inning victory in the final game. Previously, the Grizzles swept the Washington Wild Things in the first round of the Frontier League playoffs.

The Grizzlies may be best known for selling "Baseball's Best Burger" — a variant of the Luther Burger. It consists of a bacon cheeseburger with a Krispy Kreme Original Glazed doughnut used as a bun.[1]
