(ヘッポコ丸, Heppokomaru) - Heppokomaru (Gasser) is the cute teenage hero of Bobobo's group. The "heppoko" in his Japanese name means "untrained", while "maru" is a common name suffix for a samurai or other type of warrior. He uses "True Fart Fist" (Onara Shinken) as his martial art style. In the English Dub he uses "The Fist of The Back Wind" and was formerly an outcast who was studying Bo-bobo's power. He briefly broke from his trail to literally save the hair of a kidnapped Beauty. Gasser followed them to C-Block Base where he once again saved Beauty, and after Wall Man's defeat joined the team, but he rarely is seen fighting. He is another "sane" person among the group like Beauty. Also like Beauty, he admires Bobobo from the sidelines and refers to him as "Mr. Bobobo". Like Beauty, Gasser gets shocked if someone does something stupid.
Though he doesn't dare tell her, he loves Beauty and she loves him. Beauty's nickname for him is "He-kun" (へっくん, "Gas-Can" in American version). He also is hated by Don Patch.This is because in episode 9 he states that the Bobobo Show is dumb and Don Patch begins to hit him and hate him for that.
After being convinced by Pokomi that Bo-bobo's team is evil, Gasser becomes Neo A-Block Base's commander but after being defeated, he rejoins Bo-bobo's group.

- In the manga, Gasser wears a ring on his ring finger but in the anime, he dosn't wear a ring.
- In the original Japanese version, Beauty has nicknamed him He-Kun. In the English dub, she calls him Gas-Can.
- According to Beauty, Gasser and Dengakuman are the cutest male characters of the group ( Which is a little obvious because her first reaction to when he saved her in the forest was "Woah, he's kinda Hot").
- In episode 17 it is revealed that he has a bad temper behind his cute face when he grabs Doll Man and is VERY angery for turning Beauty into a doll. It is also revealed in episode 18 that Gasser is a lot stronger than he actually shows when Don Patch says the statement "We will have stars in our eyes", Gasser immediately smashes him in the face saying "I'll give you stars!!!!!", and when Serviceman comes to guard Pomade Ring, Gasser punches him hard in the face as well. So he is obviously pretty vicious at times.
- While fighting Bobobo in Shinsetsu, Heppokomaru was actually a little too strong for Bobobo and someone else had to stop Heppokomaru.
- In Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Gasser appears with a normal red T-shirt and wears a black jacket with half a skull on the frount,three skull and cross-bones on the back, his pants are below his ankles, the same white band necklace with a bead on it, a collar similar to his original collar but is just an accessory, but he still wears the same earrings and his belt is still hanging down his pants .
- He and his sister,Pokomi,both have dark and evil versions of their original fists in Shinsetsu like his Onara Shinken turns into Kakusei Onara Shinken when he swallows the demon pill and Pokomi's Lovely Magic Shinken changes into Kage Shinken.

[edit] Relationship with Beauty
He and Beauty have a very romantic relationship. He has saved her countless times even before she actually knew him. When Captain Battleship tried to attack Beauty with the attacking ducktail nose hair, Gasser pushed her out of the attack, which led to much blushing along with Gasser asking if Beauty was alright and Beauty thanking him. Also in the Hair Kingdom arc, they tell each other how they feel and kiss. But in Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, he acts kind of mean when they met him again, only to know that he is now the Commander of Neo-A Block. Beauty begins to cry while seeing him and Bo-bobo beat each other to a bloody pulp. The truth is, is that even in Shinsetsu Bobobo, he still loves her like she does him, but he covers it up while fighting Bobobo. He actually hits Beauty and gets her out of the way so he can fight without her being in the way. After he swallows the Demon pill, Beauty cries and is scared of what might happen to Bobobo and Heppokomaru. After he is back to normal, he begins to cry for hurting his friends. During this time Beauty is attacked by a hair hunt troop (possibly a hair hunt troop) and he gets in front of her and takes the attack, but he is punched severely and begins to bleed, making Beauty cry for him to recover. Beauty does stick up for him at times when Bobobo and Don Patch don't listen to what he is trying to say, for example when Heppokomaru tries to tell them that Captain Battleship destroyed his hometown of Pupu city, Captain Battleship turns into a small octopus and lies, making Bobobo and Don Patch believe Heppokomaru is lying, so Beauty tells them that he doesn't lie and tries to get them to believe him. So you can see that they care dearly about each other.

[edit] Baby Gasser
The collar around his neck regulates his power. If removed, he ends up thinking he's a baby and his gas powers go out of control. He is commonly seen with a rose in his mouth during this phase. Even in this form he still has a bad temper, when he punches Don Patch in the face for no particular reason, the first appearance of this form was the original time his bad temper is revealed.

This form isn't official, but when he and Beauty enter the 'Kid's Area' in Holy Guacomole Land they turn into little kids. In this form he is small, his clothes shrink along with him, and his eyes are bigger (seeing that he is now a small child). Also in this form he seems to act more like a small boy as well and he seems to be pretty dramatic.

In Shinsetsu Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Gasser consumes Vitamin Demon and becomes half demon, a form that seems to look similar to Yusuke Urameshi's Demon Form. He is taller, His hair is longer, he has two sets of horns on his head similar to Tayuya's in her second level cursed seal form, sharp teeth, red eyes, a demon tattoo on his chest, claws, and a demon tail. It is actually revealed that this form is semingly unstable because of the personality between the person and the power of the pill. In the end he is defeated by Bo-bobo, is turned back to normal, begins to cry for his actions, and soon after rejoins the team.

- Fist of Back Wind: Gasser massively passes wind. Used against Geha the Gale, Wall Man, and Katsu (in Baby Form). Gasser can also use this attack as Baby Gasser but with far more power.
- Stench Trorpedo: Gasser throws a ball of backwind. Used against Wall Man, Loincloth Lloyd, Captain Battleship, Infinite Shoot, and Holy Guacamole Land soldiers.
- Gas Grenade(s): Gasser throws four balls of backwind. Used against Loincloth Lloyd and Wall Man.
- Barking Spider: A stonger version of Stench Torpedo. Used against Wall Man and Gump.
- Cheezy Twist: Gasser jumps in the and releases wind. used against Wall Man.
- Air Biskit: A stronger version of Barking Spider. used against Wall Man.
- Stink Bomb: Gasser throws two balls of backwind that cause a massive explosion on impact. used against Wall Man and Tarashi.
- United Stinkin' Jelly Jet Ski: Gasser rides Jelly Jiggler while throwing balls of backwind. Used against Mesopotamian Guy, Indus Guy, The Yellow River, Bo-bobo, and Don Patch.
- Combined Secret Fist: Wobble Wobble Jet Stink: An advanced version of United Stinkin' Jelly Jet Ski inwhich Gasser and Jelly Jiggler put on sunglasses as Gasser releases a rapid barrage of back wind blasts until kicking and shooting Jelly Jiggler at the enemy.
- Combined Fist Attack: Gas-A-Lot: Softon tackles the enemy by riding on a whip of back wind created and used by Gasser.

- Wind somersault: Gasser uses Fist of the Backwind While Somersaulting.
- Wind Explosion: Gasser creates a massive explosion by using Fist of Backwind on the ground.
