Gash (slang)

Gash is a slang term in English. It is normally used, chiefly in Scotland, to refer to the inane, stupid or rubbish, as used in the title to the Channel Four television comedy programme "Gash" [1] produced by Armando Iannucci. Possibly derived from scots words for "prattle", "pale" or "ghastly" [2].
