[edit] Girbau

Hi Garrepi, thank you for your info, we have never pretended to advertise our company in Wikipedia, we have seen that Electrolux, a similar company , but much more bigger, has info about their company in Wikipedia, that is the reason we have included ours. I do no understand why they can include their info and you delete ours. thank you for your time Merce Bover GIRBAU, S.A. (MBover)

I have no objection to an article about Girbau. However, wording like "Girbau is well-known in the market for its ability to give tailor-made solutions to their customers’ needs" and "Girbau is able to offer all the equipment required by any laundry facility" make it obvious that you are promoting the company instead of describing it objectively. It's also considered very bad form to remove notice boxes from a page that you created. --Garrepi 10:13, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
Garrepi, thanks for your comments, I have modified our page following your indications, I think that now this is a literature about our company not an advertisiment, what do you think? I have professional deformation when writing about our company, sorry. thanks for your help. Merce Bover (MBover)
It's much better now. I replaced the "advertisement" message with a "clean-up" one to encourage people to help you format the page. Sorry if I was rude before. Garrepi 09:00, 10 August 2006 (UTC)

I think it's some kid who doesn't know to check the talk page. Can someone temp block him? Garrepi 10:24, 12 August 2006 (UTC)
I gave a {{blatantvandal}} warning. If this persists, feel free to list him on WP:AIV. (|-- UlTiMuS ( UTC | ME ) 10:34, 12 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Site Speedies

How obnoxious is it that NN websites can't be speedied? I don't understand why the guidelines are so lenient when it comes to websites spamming with their own pages. Have fun with bitHAUL, I took Schlogger. Garrepi 13:56, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Heh. I hear ya, man. (|-- UlTiMuS ( UTC | ME ) 13:57, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] ZING!

Saw while watching RC that your speedy tag was removed from ZING!, I've therefore nominated it for the normal deletion process - Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ZING! - Stephanie Daugherty (Triona) - Talk - Comment - 09:57, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Flash Remembrance

Just posting a remembrance, as it is 2 years since the legend of ball Antoine "Flash" Howard died of a brain tumour. There was surely never a quicker baller, and never will be another like him. "Flash", always in the memory. Check out his page or mine for to post your condolences. Andrew 09:42, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AND1 isn't solely streetball

Totally agree on your comments on the streetball page, the game goes way beyond AND1. Sure they've done a lot for the game, but its all about the inner city game, giving people a chance to perfrom at a serious grassroot level. Millm0w 11:46, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Target

I'm in the process of cleaning up the Bullseye disambig page, and created Bullseye (target) to take all the non-dab information about bullseyes. I noticed that you had pointed out a similar problem with the dab-page Target, and wanted input from you. Should we have a page about targets (called what?), and include the bullseye information as a section? Or a page about targets and a page about bullseyes? Or? Sanguinity 20:23, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

The consensus on the Target disambig page seems to be that the definition of a target as something to aim at is a dictionary definition and shouldn't be included (though I tend to disagree). It seems redundant to have separate entries for the bullseye symbol and the bullseye of a target, so I think your bullseye (target) page is probably the most appropriate place to direct people looking for either. If there's enough information to warrant it, we could include a section on the page called "Uses of bullseye symbol" to describe when and why people have used the logo. --Garrepi 20:36, 13 October 2006 (UTC)
