[edit] Digimon images

I noticed you've tagged a bunch of your Digimon image uploads with a Creative Commons license. That would be an incorrect license to use, since you don't actually hold the copyright. There is a specific tag you can use instead, {{Digimonimage}}. When you upload an image you can leave the licensing pop-up blank, and instead just type {{Digimonimage}} in the summary box.

On that same note, these images are basically known as fair use images. This means that someone else owns them, but we can use them to illustrate important parts of the topic, and because it doesn't hurt the owner's chances of making a profit. Because of that we need a fair use rationale statement written in the image summary as well. For example, something that is seen on Image:Kamisama Kazoku ep03.jpg or Image:Lost title card.jpg.

Don't forget to also include the source where you found the image (like a web address, or a book it was scanned from, etc). Doing this will protect the images from being deleted for not passing WP:FUC. Feel free to ask me any questions. -- Ned Scott 05:41, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
