Gary Sabaugh is a professional wrestler, best known for his appearances with Jim Crockett Promotions and World Championship Wrestling as The Italian Stallion. He was one of the better enhancement talents of the 1980s. Ran a promotion with George South in Rutherford County, North Carolina, called the Professional Wrestling Federation, after JCP was sold to Ted Turner. The PWF ran shows in North and South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia, the approximate area of the old JCP territory, from 1992 to 1999.
Sabaugh was also the wrestling advisor for the short-lived Lyle Alzado sitcom Learning the Ropes in 1988; he also was one of two stunt doubles of Alzado's wrestling character, the Masked Maniac, in the series (the other was "Dr. Death" Steve Williams).
