From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gary Lee Conner (born August 22, 1962, Fort Irwin, California, USA) was lead guitarist for grunge music act Screaming Trees.
[edit] Background
Gary's brother, Van Conner, was the band's bassist. It has been reported that friction between the siblings kept the band from moving into the spotlight.[citation needed]
Conner was also featured on the 1995 album, Ball-Hog or Tugboat from Mike Watt. In 1999, he released a 7" EP on the Sub Pop imprint. The recording, entitled Grasshoppers Dream/Behind The Smile also featured Josh Homme from Queens of the Stone Age.
As of 2001, he was last known working as a newspaper courier in San Antonio, Texas.[1]
