Garrison Arthur "Gary" Ewing, was a character in the American television series Knots Landing and also in the television series Dallas, married to Valene Ewing. played most notably by Ted Shackelford (1979-1993) and briefly played by David Ackroyd (1978-1979). Gary was the father of Lucy Ewing and twins Bobby and Betsy Ewing.
