Gary Cotter

Gary Cotter (born November 19, 1947 in White Plains, New York as Gary William Cotter) is a Certified Financial Planner based in Sun City Center, Florida, USA.

Cotter is an independent financial advisor affiliated with Linsco/Private Ledger (LPL Financial Services). He is a Charter Member of Ed Slott's Master Elite IRA Advisor Group, a private IRA study group of professional financial advisors from across the nation with extensive IRA (Individual Retirement Account) experience. Cotter is an expert on IRA issues and retirement planning[1].

Cotter is a founding member of the Corpus Christi Sailboard Association (established 1983, Corpus Christi, Texas)[2]. The Corpus Christi Sailboard Association's events were the foundation of the concept of a professional and amateur windsurfing competition, which led to the birth of the US Open Windsurfing Regatta[3].
