Gary Óg

Gary Óg is a popular Glasgow born Irish ballad and Irish rebel singer. He regularly plays in pubs and taverns around Glasgow and has also toured the UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia and the US.
Gary Óg has collaborated on songs with Chris Byrne of Seanchai, Damien Dempsey, Shane MacGowan and Terry 'Cruncher' O'Neill. He has played live with various other musicians including Declan McLaughlin and Sean Lyons, the latter with whom he recorded the album 'Songs of Rebellion'.

Gary is perhaps best known as the former singer in the popular Irish rebel band Éire Óg (now disbanded). He has also played briefly with Partisan, a band which included musicians from rebel bands Éire Óg and Shebeen.[1].
