The Garwood Public Schools is a community public school district that serves students in Kindergarten through eighth grade from Garwood, in Union County, New Jersey, United States.

Students in grades 9 - 12 attend Arthur L. Johnson High School in neighboring Clark as part of a sending/receiving relationship.

Schools in the district (with enrollment data from the 2004-05 School Report Card from the New Jersey Department of Education) are Washington School with 73 students in Kindergarten (full-day) and First Grade and Lincoln / Franklin School with 318 students in Kindergarten (half-day) and grades 2 - 8.
