Garry Jones

Garry Jones first appeared in the gospel music scene in 1980 when he joined Southern Gospel quartet The Dixie Echoes as their bass guitarist, soon after assuming the pianist position. In 1981, he joined popular Gold City and remained until 1995. For several years, he worked in the studio as a producer for many quartets including Gold City and the Palmetto State Quartet. In 2001 he was selected to be the pianist for Old Friends Quartet, which included George Younce, Jake Hess, Wes Pritchard, and Ernie Haase. Following their disbanding in 2002, he was the original pianist for Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, quartet. After leaving Signature Sound, he started Mercy's Mark Quartet.
