Garrett Tierney (born October 22, 1980) is an American Musician from Long Island.

Garrett Tierney is currently the bassist for Brand New. Garrett was born on October 22, 1980, and has a twin brother named Shaun. Before joining Brand New, Garrett in the late 1990s was in another band called The Rookie Lot with other Brand New band members Jesse Lacey, and Brian Lane. Garrett's former band was Post-Hardcore and largely influenced by the group Lifetime. During the second day of recording Deja Entendu, his car was stolen. Garrett is also known to surf makeoutclub.com and find the most attractive girls interested in his band, messaging them with the surefire line, "Yo."

Garrett Tierney's discography includes a split EP with The Rookie Lot (1998), the album Your Favorite Weapon, the EP Brand New/Safety in Numbers Split EP, another EP called The Holiday EP, an album called Deja Entendu, and most recently The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me, all with Brand New.
