Garreth Carvell is a rugby league player who plays for the Hull FC. Carvell is a Welsh international.

Phil Gould in his newspaper column called Hull FC's Wales and Great Britain International prop Garreth Carvell as Gareth Gravel.

As a consequence Gareth's new nickname has become pebbles.

He's played in the 2000 Rugby League World Cup, 2006 Super League Grand Final, 2005 Challenge Cup Final and Gus can't even get his name right.
