Garnish, Newfoundland and Labrador

Garnish was known for its lumbering and lobstering operations. It is located on the west coast of the Burin Peninsula, 19 miles north west of Grand Banks. The Way Office was established in 1852 and the first Waymaster was Henry Campe. It had a population of 545 in 1956
