[edit] Investments

With help from the governments specialist status scheme it is now a specialist computing and mathematics college and hence has received a large amount of investment, which has been put to good use by building new mathematics classrooms, major upgrades to the ICT facilities and improvements to the Physical Education department. The school now has a new title: Garibaldi Math and Computing College.

Prior to this the school was simply called garibaldi Comprehensive School, or familiarly, Gara.
