Garhajis is a sub-clan of the Somali Isaaq family. The Garhajis sub-clan live in all regions of Somaliland. The clan consists of two main sub-clans, the Eidagale (Daud Garhejis) and Habar Yoonis (Saciid Garhejis). Garhajis have very large populations throughout the Ethiopian Hawd area and in the main cities of Somaliland. Habar Yoonis is larger of the two sub-clans of Garhajis. The name Garhajis is not widely among Somalis, and members are better known by their subclan names, Eidagale and Habar Yoonis.
