Gareth Wyatt (born 4 March 1977), is a Welsh rugby union player.

Born in Pontypridd, South Wales, he started his professional career at Pontypridd RFC, winning a regional contract at the beginning of the 2003 season with the Celtic Warriors. In 2004, due to a combination of factors involving both the WRU and owner Leighton Samuel, the team was dispersed and players transferred to various other regions and teams throughout Europe.

Gareth, due to his ability to play at several positions - Wing, Centre, Fullback and Fly Half - and his talent, found a contract playing for the Newport Gwent Dragons alongside other notable former Celtic Warrior team mates including Kevin Morgan, Ceri Sweeney, Michael Owen and Gareth Cooper. In the 2006/2007 season, he has been positioned at Wing, playing in a backline with Kevin Morgan at Fullback, Aled Brew on the other Wing, Ashley Smith & Paul Emerick playing centre, with Ceri Sweeney & Gareth Cooper as halfbacks.

He has represented Wales at Sevens, Under 19 level, Under 21 level, Wales A and the Wales national team.
