The Garden City University College is one of the private universities in Ghana. It is located at Kumasi in the Ashanti Region. It was established in 2001.[1][2] as the College of Information Technology and Management Systems. The College was converted into the Garden City University College in 2004.[2] It has been granted accreditation by the National Accreditation Board.[3]

The university has two schools at present and a further two are planned. The current schools are:

The programmes run in this school are:[4]
- B.Sc. Accounting and Management Information Systems
- Bachelor of Business Administration
- B.Sc. Economics with Statistics
- B.Sc. Finance and Entrepreneurship Development

There are two courses offered in this school.[5]
- B.Sc. Computer Science
- Diploma in Computer Science (Network Management and Security)

The university plans to add two more schools. They are:[1][6]
- School of Health Sciences - to run courses in Nursing, Health Education and Physical Therapy
- B.Sc. Nursing is being introduced.
- School of Engineering and Applied Sciences - degree programs in Chemistry,Physics, Biological Systems.
- Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering for courses in Electrical, Computer, Systems and Software Engineering
