Gang is a 2000 Bollywood film directed by the late actor Mazhar Khan who died two years before this film's release. The film took nearly 10 years to complete. The film stars Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Jaaved Jaffrey, Kumar Gaurav and Juhi Chawala. The late actor Amjad Khan's brother Inayat Khan in his only film appearance plays the villain in the film.

Four friends get together to start their career in crime and extortion. They call themsevles G.A.N.G. - G for Gangu (Jackie Shroff), A for Abdul (Nana Patekar), N for Nihal Singh (Kumar Gaurav), and G for Gary Rozario (Jaaved Jaffrey). All four come from different cultural and religious backgrounds, but their roots are built on friendship and trust. They succeed in their criminal goals, although Gangu is arrested and sentenced to jail for five years. Before going to jail, he asks them to promise to go straight, to which they all agree.

When Gangu is released, he is pleased to find that Abdul is now driving a taxi, his mother is well looked after, and that Nihal and Gary have also started doing business. It is when Gangu meets his sweetheart, Sanam (Juhi Chawala), and proposes marriage, that he learns that all is not well in their world.
