Gameloft is an international publisher and developer of video games for mobile devices, headquartered in France, with offices all around the world. Gameloft is listed on the Paris Stock Exchange (Bloomberg: GFT FP, Reuters: GFT.PA).

With around 2500 employees worldwide[citation needed], Gameloft posted consolidated revenues of 46.6m€ in 2005, and 68m€ are forecast for 2006. Gameloft is also profitable since 2003. Through agreements with major telephone wireless carriers, handset manufacturers, specialized distributors and its online shop, Gameloft has a distribution network in over 75 countries[citation needed]. The company creates games for mobile handsets equipped with Java, BREW or Symbian technology.

Founded in 1999, Gameloft is an international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones.

Partnership agreements with leading licensors and personalities such as Ubisoft Entertainment, Universal Pictures, Viacom, Sony Pictures, FifPro, Paris Hilton ent., Lamborghini, Derek Jeter, Vijay Singh, Andriy Shevchenko or Djibril Cissé, Gameloft has formed strong relationships with international brands. In addition to the partnerships, Gameloft owns and operates such brands as Block Breaker Deluxe, Asphalt: Urban GT and New York Nights.[citation needed]

As a result of agreements with telecom carriers, handset manufacturers, specialized distributors and its online store, Gameloft now boasts a distribution network in over 75 countries. New York Studio is the best studio they have.[citation needed]

Gameloft has worldwide offices in New York, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Mexico, London, Düsseldorf, Milan, Madrid, New Delhi, Seoul, Hong Kong, Beijing, Tokyo, Buenos Aires, Bucharest and Sofia. Gameloft has a direct marketing a sale presence in 16 countries. Its games are distributed in more than 170 countries.[citation needed]

Gameloft has 7 major in-house development studios in the US, Canada, Romania, France, China, Japan, Vietnam and India. With over 2,700 in-house developers, Gameloft has the largest development capacity of the industry.[citation needed] 800 models of cellphones are supported and each title is released in 1500 different versions.[citation needed]

Gameloft games are award winning games and receive the best reviews in the industry. Gameloft won the award for Best Mobile Games Studio given by The Develop Industry Excellence Awards held at the Develop Conference & Expo on July 12th 2006. Gameloft is also a first mover in 3D-3G technology, and for real-time multiplayer games. Sports, action, arcade, casual, the line-up is comprehensive and covering all genres.[citation needed]
