Game Fortress

Game Fortress is a video game design company based in Utah which creates various computer games. Game Fortress was started in 2003, and first started seeing popularity with the release of The Curse of Kaumaha. Now Game Fortress is well known among the Game Maker Community. Game Fortress has also had some success in selling games, although nothing has been sold online yet.

The Game Fortress mission is to provide games for others to enjoy and to fullfill this mission. Many games have been started, and some have even been finished. Here is a list of some of the more known Game Fortress games.
Pokémon Twilight This game is how Game Fortress became very well known, although the game is far from complete. It is extremely popular and has a large fan base. Recently Pokémon Surou, a game being developed by the TZ Corporation, has stopped production and is instead going to be a part of Twilight.
The Curse of Kaumaha: A platformer game where you control a coconut named Niu on an adventure to free an island (Named Kaumaha) from a terrible curse. This game has been completed and a sequel is being worked on.
Aqua Artist: An aquarium simulator that allows you to have a large amount of virtual pets.
Blackwater: An advanced underwater platformer role-playing game where you take control of a seahorse and gather starfish, which grant you different powers.
The Curse of Kaumaha 2: Wooden Whispers: The sequel to The Curse of Kaumaha this game sees new powers, new enemies, and a new part of the curse. The player plays as the same coconut, though the controls are different.
Other: Game Fortress has a large amount of projects that aren't currently as popular as the ones listed above. A couple of them have downloads available on the Game Fortress forum,or on the Game Maker Forum.

Game Fortress maintains both a website and a forum. The website is currently being constructed and many features are not ready. The forum is nearly deserted. Only five to six members regularly visit the place anymore, and usually only talk on the Babble Box section of the forum.
