- Men's 100 metres. In the first round, he ran a 10.26, setting the National Record for Gambia and qualifying for the second round. In the second round, he ran a 10.39, finishing last in his heat, and did not qualify for the next round.
- Men's 200 metres. In the first round, he ran a 20.78, qualifying for the second round. In the second round, he ran a 20.73, not qualifying for the semifinals.
- Adama Njie
- Women's 800 metres. She ran a 2:10.02, finishing eighth and last in her heat, and did not qualify for the second round.
