Gallo Matese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Caserta in the Italian region Campania, located about 70 km north of Naples and about 45 km north of Caserta. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 724 and an area of 30.9 km².^[1]

The municipality of Gallo Matese contains the frazione (subdivision) Vallelunga.

Gallo Matese borders the following municipalities: Capriati a Volturno, Fontegreca, Letino, Longano, Monteroduni, Prata Sannita, Roccamandolfi.
