Galit Chait (Hebrew: גלית חייט Galit Hayat; born on January 29, 1975 in Kfar Saba, Israel) is an Israeli ice dancer with partner Sergei Sakhnovski. They have been competing internationally for Israel since 1996. In 2002 they were the first Israeli ice dance team to win a medal (bronze) at World Championships. They have competed in three Olympics, finishing 14th in 1998, 6th in 2002, and 8th in 2006.
Before teaming up with Sergei Sakhnovski, Galit Chait was teamed with Max Sevestianov. They competed at US Nationals in 1992 and 1994 and represented Israel at the World Championships 1994.
Chait was the flag bearer for Israel at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
