Gale Woods a character featured within the famed ancient Chinese novel Investiture of the Gods. Gale Woods is the vanguard under General Cassia of Grand Old Master Wen Zhong's personal militia. In appearance, Gale Woods had a red beard, blue face, and rather protrusive buck teeth (Gale Woods would resemble more of an ape than anything else). Following his appearance at dawn before Pheonix City, Gale Woods would end up dueling it out against Ji Skye. After a short time, Gale Woods would kill Ji Skye upon the unleashing of his magic ability and his duel clubs. Following the arrival of General Cassia's full militia, Gale Woods would battle against Nimblefoot, and would win solely through his magic technique once again. However, following Nezha's arrival, Gale Woods would end up loseing an arm and almost his life. Following his defeat, Gale Woods would later be healed by Wang Magus, one of four superiormen of Nine Dragon Island. At a later point following Li Resounding's final solo stand against Baby Tooth, Gale Woods would rise in atop his horse to assist. In short time, Heavenly Happiness, the seven-year old son of Flying Tiger, would suddenly charge forth and cut Gale Woods through with his silver spear.
