[[1]]Galactiac is the Amalgam Comics fusion of Galactus of Marvel Comics and Brainiac of DC Comics.

Galactiac was an alien who ate worlds to feed himself, but left a section unharmed to study, and planned to preserve New York City to study.

Galactiac found his mission hampered by many members of S.T.A.R Labs, and he disposed of the Four-Armed Terror and Johnny Stormtrooper. However, the menace was defeated by the Challengers of the Fantastic and the Silver Racer. Galactiac left Earth swearing vengeance, but due to the one-shot nature of the Amalgam titles, this is yet another dangling plot thread.
