Gala TV is a gaming channel in the United Kingdom which has launched on October 4, 2006 replacing AVAGO. The channel was due to be launched on September 13, 2006, but due to technical problems it was held back.

Programming consists mainly of bingo games. Viewers can register via their remote control and then pay to receive electronic "bingo cards", which are automatically marked on-screen as numbers are drawn.

The presentation format is considerably different to Gala TV's predecessor, AVAGO. AVAGO featured friendly banter between two hosts, regular comments from viewers (usually via text message) and frequent jokes between both hosts and off-screen staff. Bingo balls were drawn from a machine live and to camera. Gala TV presents a very different image. Numbers are drawn and displayed electronically behind a single host who talks directly to the viewer with no such banter.

One interesting point is that financial prizes are never mentioned on air. The presenter might say for example "this game is worth five hundred" but without mentioning a currency. This is a common trend amongst all UK gaming TV channels and presumably is due to a gambling regulation preventing the actual discussion of financial rewards.

Gala TV is owned by Gala Bingo (Gala Group).
