Gajapathinagaram is a Town and Mandal in Vizianagaram district in the state of Andhra Pradesh, India.^[1] It is located on the banks of River Champavathi. Gajapatinagaram railway station is located on Vizianagaram-Raipur mainline.

Gajapathinagaram has an average literacy rate of 60%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 67%, and female literacy is 53%.
