Gail D. Fosler

Gail D. Fosler (b. 1947?) is a prominent American economist and economic forecaster. She is currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Economist of The Conference Board, and as such is frequently interviewed by prominent[neutrality disputed] journalists. She has twice been named as the most accurate economic forecaster of the year by the Wall Street Journal[citation needed]. Before joining The Conference Board in 1989, she was the chief[citation needed] economist for the Senate Budget Committee. She serves on the board of directors of a number of major corporations, including Caterpillar Inc., Baxter International, and Unisys. She lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland with her husband R. Scott Fosler and their son Michael.
