Gadget is a character from Konami's role playing games Suikoden II and Suikogaden vol. 2. It's successor Gadget Z appears in Suikoden III. This article deals with both characters. Gadget is a machine that travels with Meg.

Created by Juppo, it was given to his niece Meg as a present, and, even though it is a machine, it has a tough time being patient with Meg. After the Dunan Unification War, it travels towards Crystal Valley with Meg and Millie. It has the ability to locate itself using a satellite global positioning system, and could turn into "Super Karakuri Maru"--thanks to the combined efforts of Meg, Tenkou, Jeane, Adlai, Toni, and a few others.

Gadget Z is a character from Konami's role playing game Suikoden III. It's predecessor, Gadget, appeared in Suikoden II before it. GadgetZ is a remodeled version of Gadget and travels with Belle.

Meg was struck by lightning, and the idea came to her to build Gadget Z, with increased offensive capabilities but also increased vulnerability to Gadget. She entrusted her daughter Belle with care of the robot, but then left. Gadget has since travelled with Belle on a search for her mother. They joined forces with the Fire Bringer when they helped repair Gadget Z by finding a screw that was lost to monsters.
