[edit] My Background
From 1999 to 2003 I worked @ the forefront of MPEG-4 Systems with @ that time the leader of the MPEG-4 industry; iVAST, Incorporated. With iVAST, I had the opportunity to work directly with Fortune 500 companies to consult on the integration of iVAST's platform offering with the companies' existing products or services (ie: Set-top boxes, Electronic Programming Guides, Backhaul Systems). Some of these companies include; Intel, Panasonic, Warner Brothers, Dai Nippon Printing and Daikin. I was also involved in the early stages of the next DVD standard, as well as had an influence on the ISO MPEG-4 Systems standard itself.
From 1996 to 1999 at the age of 15, I founded an internet application services company named NEOS Interactive. NEOS’ primary focus was internet commerce applications but @ times went beyond the digital world and would implement in-store systems to streamline the online order and fulfillment process. Specializing in small to mid-sized companies, NEOS worked with stores such as a few popular clothing boutiques on the world-famous Melrose Avenue (Los Angeles) as well as a hip clothing line with national distribution in both the United States and Japan.
I had my first experience with a computer and subsequent love for technology @ the age of 6.
