Gabrielle Delacour is a fictional character from the Harry Potter series of books.

She, apparently, will be a student at the French wizarding school Beauxbatons and is the younger sister of their Triwizard Tournament champion Fleur Delacour. Her age in The Goblet of Fire is estimated by Harry to be no older than eight years old, and she will go to Beauxbatons in 1997 (assuming that French witches and wizards also start school at age eleven), which would mean that she was probably born around 1986.

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Like her sister Fleur, Gabrielle is actually partly non-human; their grandmother was a Veela.

During the Triwizard Tournament, in which Fleur was the champion for Beauxbatons, Gabrielle was chosen along with Cho Chang, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley, to be the underwater "bait" for the champions to rescue. Fleur did not manage to rescue Gabrielle in time because she got held back by the Grindylows and was forced to return, but luckily Harry Potter went on to save her in addition to his own hostage. This incident obviously had a large effect on Gabrielle, because in the Half-Blood Prince, she is described as having something of a crush on Harry, rather like the one a younger Ginny Weasley had. The incident also caused Fleur to be somewhat affectionate toward Harry. It is also suggested in Half-Blood Prince that she will be a bridesmaid at Fleur's wedding in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
