Gabriel Marsden (born October 20, 1990) is a New Zealand guitarist best known as the lead singer, guitarist and songwriter of the rock band Rodrigez Is a Woman (2007-Present). He began his musical career as a Pianist, before moving on to become a singer and guitarist. He also enjoyed acclaim as a solo performer with many songs that he has written, and keeps in a red folder.

[edit] Early life
Marsden was born in Timaru, New Zealand and still resides there in his teenage years. His parents are Jeff Marsden (an engineer) and Manorma Marsden (a homemaker). He has lived in one house for all of his life. Gabriel used to regularly attend church with his parents, but he has recently started to not attend, as this is not in his interests anymore. "Church got boring, I'm really sick of it. I couldn't go out on a Saturday night coz I would have to get up for church."[citation needed]
[edit] Rodrigez Is A Woman (2007 - Present)
Gabriels latest band "Rodrigez Is A Woman" Are a new generation of modern rock band. They have 2 singles at the pre-release stage at present and are most likely to be released at the annual Rockquest Competition. These two songs are called, Jimothy and Fate.

Gabriel is also in a band with Reece VanBooma, and Rowan Weston. Currently they are inactive as Gabriel is focusing on RIAW. The band is destined to play music in equal genre with Metallia, Guns N' Roses and Tool.

Gabriel is also an avid film director, producer and camera operator. He has directed many films, his most recent project was a film called "Danger, Control and Weird Goings On." This film illustrates a series of elaborate events that happen in the small country town of Gortenskyville. Gabriel also was the camera man for the film "Are You A Bit Pissed Mate?" He also had a small acting role in this film.

- Gabriel prefers to be called 'Gab'
- Gabriel once lit his pants on fire. This was ended by his mother screaming "GABRIEL!! YOUR PANTS ARE ON FIRE!!!"
- Gabriel has attended 3 schools over his schooling career. Timaru West Primary School, Watlington Intermediate and Timaru Boys' High School, which he currently attends.
- Gabriel is half Fijian/Indian.
